Babysitting Is Worth It[]

  • The episode opens with Madison lying on Samuel's lap, giggling flirtatiously.
  • Madison suggests that they should get back to tutoring (since Madison became Samuel's tutor in Wireless Internet Service), and asks him, "What is another word for 'rain'?". Samuel replies with "love".
  • It is implied that "love" is on Samuel's mind; since Madison points out that even though they're dating, it doesn't have to be the only word in his vocabulary.
  • Samuel asks Madison if "Babysitter" is a TV show since he has heard of it before.
  • Both of them agree to start the babysitting service.
  • When they enter the building, they are holding hands.
  • They stand close to each other constantly through out the episode.
  • When Janelle spits the milk in Madison's face, Madison returns to the kitchen (where Samuel is) and he looks concerned.
  • The pair embrace and Samuel kisses her on the forehead.

Best Friends[]

  • Madison receives a text from Samuel telling her to look out the window. She does so, and catches a piece of paper in mid-air, which Samuel threw down.
  • The paper contained Samuel's handwriting; telling Madison that they couldn't hang out that day due to meeting up with a friend at Lasagna Pete's. The idea that he handwritten the note to her shows a sense of intimacy as Samuel chose not to text her regarding the situation.
  • The pair communicate through the windows; Samuel is on the top floor whilst Madison was on the bottom.
  • Madison seems disappointed after receiving the note.
  • Madison decides to get her job back at Lasagna Pete's (despite being fired from there twice) in order to spy on Samuel.
  • Madison goes over to Samuel and Ty (his friend) and attempts to squeeze in time with Samuel. Annoyed, Samuel gives Madison a fork to play with.
  • Madison attempts to get Samuel to slow dance with her by playing "their song" on her phone. Samuel then gets annoyed and yells at her to go away, making Madison upset.
  • Madison's boss fired her for a third time after she refused to get off the floor, as she was too depressed to move.
  • Samuel pretends that he is an employee so that he can sneak to the back where Madison was sitting.
  • Samuel deeply apologizes to Madison. Madison also states that she was upset because they haven't had a proper date or spent a lot of time together since they got together.
  • Samuel promises Madison "something special" for her when she got home from work. They embrace.
  • When Madison gets home, the room is filled with candles. Samuel appears with a tuxedo and gives her a rose. He then reads out the "poem" that he originally wrote for her but recited to Loretta in Happy Valentine's Day. The poem read, "Dear Madison. I am honored that you decided to go out with me. You know that I loved you since the first day we met. With your sparkling green eyes and your beautiful blonde hair, I know that we'll be together forever. I love you."
  • The pair slow dance with each other and is about to kiss, however they are interrupted by Babushka turning the romantic evening into a party. Babushka then changes the song on the stereo to Jumpstart and everyone joins in.
  • The scene cuts to the gang partying to Life In Chicago, and during the line "Gotta find a guy who's awesome at the need", Madison says that she found one.

Sand For Thought[]

  • The pair stand next to each other when they are confused about the outfits that they were wearing.
  • Samuel danced enthusiastically during Madison's performance.
  • Samuel asks Madison who Colin Mochrie was after Madison showed enthusiasm when Phil brought him home.

Poisoned[]

  • Samuel tells Madison about his science project; a hazardous chemical that can burn anything it touches to a crisp.
  • Samuel reminds Madison about the project while they're half asleep. He tells her that it is sitting on the counter.
  • The next day, Samuel bakes Madison heart-shaped cookies. Madison is confused when she learns that Samuel can bake.
  • Samuel seemed concerned when Madison was jittery. After asking her why, Madison tells him about Babushka's accident.
  • The two of them agree to ride in Patricia's car to the hospital; despite Patricia being extra alert from staying up the night before. Much to their dismay, Patricia falls asleep at the wheel and they get into a car accident (off screen). Madison only receives a cut with 12 stitches whilst Samuel receives a broken leg from the accident.
  • Madison visits Samuel (and Babushka) in the hospital.
  • When Taylor Jordan attempts to flirt with Madison, Madison tells him that she is currently in a happy relationship with Samuel.
  • Madison defended Samuel when Babushka was about to call him a b****.
  • They are sitting next to each other on the bus.
  • Madison and Samuel (along with Babushka, Matthew, Phil and Million Bucks Bill) walk into the hotel room during a scene from the Pilot episode.

Halloween Scares[]

Note: This episode is considered non-canon.

  • Madison asks Zombie (Samuel) if he could help her hang the Halloween sign above the door. Zombie tells her that he is too busy watching a video.
  • Madison is annoyed when Zombie refused to help her and takes the App pad from him.
  • Madison and Zombie (and Babushka) agree to go ghost hunting with Patricia.
  • Madison catches Zombie using her App pad again. For punishment, she accidentally pulls Zombie's head off of his body.
  • Annoyed, Zombie squirts zombie juice at Madison, coming out of his mouth.
  • Madison holds Zombie Head whilst time traveling, however she drops him since he was incapable of time traveling due to being a disembodied head.
  • Madison notices that Zombie Head was missing and is concerned when she can't find him.
  • Madison was jealous when she sees Zombie Head with a woman who is naked.
  • During the end scene, Madison is in the middle of walking up to the door in the middle of the room when she notices Zombie Head on the ground trying to get her attention.
  • Madison picks up Zombie Head and embraces him in her arms since she forgave him for ruining her costume.
  • Madison is concerned when Zombie Head disappears out of nowhere.

A Wonderful Thanksgiving[]

  • Samuel holds the ladder while Madison is putting up the last flyer advertising the Thanksgiving Dance.
  • Madison thanks Samuel for helping her and hugs him.
  • Babushka takes a picture of them, calling them "Chicago's Newest Couple". They let go of each other and clear their throats.
  • Babushka asks Madison who she's taking to the dance and Madison replies with, "Who do you think?".
  • They meet in Blue after school and Samuel orders Madison ice-cream. Samuel intended that a note would be found in the ice-cream, asking her to the dance. However, the waitress screwed up the order and put it in Chester's ice-cream instead. Samuel was angry when he saw that Chester received the note instead.
  • Madison asks Samuel why he's upset.
  • Madison tells Samuel that she wasn't planning on taking anyone to the dance, since she would be too busy organizing it to have a date. However, she had a secret plan; where she surprised Samuel at the dance and the two of them could perform her new song together.
  • Madison gives Samuel lyrics to a duet that she has written for the two of them to sing together ("Funtastic"). She described the song as being about "two people who are destined to be together having the best night of their lives."
  • Samuel becomes more upset by this, and Madison apologizes to him. She tells him that it's okay and that he just needs to learn the song.
  • Madison kisses Samuel on the cheek before leaving Blue.
  • The next day, Steve asks Madison for her opinion for which tie he should wear to the dance, since he was intending to go with her. Madison tells him that she is planning on taking Samuel to the dance; he just doesn't know it yet.
  • Madison spots Samuel in the library and asks him if he's learnt the song yet. Samuel answers back in an inconsiderate way, leaving Madison confused.
  • Later, Madison notices Samuel looking out the window of their hotel room. Madison pulls up a chair and joins him. The two of them share a romantic moment, where Samuel apologizes for his behavior and Madison apologizes for getting his hopes up. This leads to sharing "I love you's" for the first time.
  • Madison leans her head on Samuel's shoulder and Samuel places his arm around her, giving a warm embrace.
  • Madison makes a comment about the stars outside being beautiful, and Samuel tells her that they aren't the only beautiful thing he's seen that night.
  • Madison asks Samuel if he is going to the dance anyway, and he promised her that he would turn up to support her.
  • While at the dance, Madison is concerned when she couldn't find Samuel anywhere, and she asks Babushka, Matthew and Phil if they've seen him. They all tell her that Samuel didn't come.
  • Worried, Madison excludes herself from the dance to call Samuel.
  • Samuel answers. He was sitting on the couch watching TV.
  • Madison felt heartbroken when she realized that the dance meant a lot to her and Samuel broke his promise. She is close to tears until Steve asks her if she wanted to dance with him.
  • A slow song comes on, and Madison is left stood-up. She looks at all the couples slow dancing and feels sorry for herself, saying that the situation was an exact repeat of the Valentine's Dance (in the season 1 finale).
  • The song is interrupted when Samuel bursts his way through the door in formal clothing.
  • Madison smiles and rushes over to him.
  • Samuel asks her if she wants to dance, and she said yes.
  • The pair dance for a few seconds before Madison decides to go with her secret plan. She takes his hand and drags him to the stage.
  • The two of them perform "Funtastic" in front of the entire school, smiling at each other all the way through.
  • At the end of the song, they pose in a way that looks like they are about to kiss and they can't keep their eyes off of each other.
  • While Madison (and the others) were cleaning up after the dance, she thanks Samuel for coming along and the two embrace.

A Day in a Life as Patricia[]

  • Samuel tells Madison that even though she was sick, she was still beautiful (this was because Samuel wanted to show off to Steve; whom felt disgusted at Madison's appearance).
  • Samuel says that he would kiss Madison if she wasn't sick.
  • Madison asks (and trusts) Samuel to hand in her book report for her since she was incapable of going to school since she was sick. However, on his way to school, her report gets ruined when a fat man sits on it while Samuel is riding the school bus.
  • Samuel attempts saving Madison's grade by typing up a new report in the computer lab.
  • Madison is disappointed when she found out that Samuel made her get a D on the report, and tells him that she hasn't gotten a D since kindergarten.
  • Madison reluctantly asks Samuel to hand in her science project for her. However, Samuel manages to get it destroyed again when he accidentally throws it out with his lunch.
  • Annoyed, Madison turns up to school the next day even though she was sicker than ever.
  • Samuel tells Babushka about how he thinks that Madison can be a bit over the top at times, but he loves her regardless.
  • Madison throws up when she hears that Samuel and Babushka gave up their differences in the past and became friends.

Spies & Business Men[]

  • Madison and Babushka were fighting as a result of Samuel's device electrocuting them.
  • Madison repetitively strokes Samuel's arm and says, "I mean, no offense" whenever she says that Samuel is the cause of her and Babushka's fallout or if she says something that may have offended him.
  • Madison (and Babushka) volunteered for the device's demonstration as a result of Samuel's "puppy dog eyes".
  • Samuel chooses Madison (and Babushka) to star in his commercial and catches her off guard.
  • Samuel didn't believe that Madison's (and Babushka's) acting was believable, so he wants them to kiss. Despite Babushka offering to do it, Madison isn't happy about this; and refers herself as Samuel's girlfriend.
  • Samuel tricks Madison into making up (the first time) with Babushka by telling her that they were going on a date.
  • Later, Samuel tricks Madison into making up with Babushka (the second time) by telling her that there is a comet. This shows that he cares for Madison's relationship with Babushka and that he wants the best for her.

Girl That Has to Come[]

  • Madison happily introduces Samuel to Natalie after Natalie asks if she had a boyfriend.
  • Samuel kisses Madison on the forehead.
  • Madison gets Samuel olive oil.
  • Madison stays in the room for a while until Samuel asks her to leave him alone for privacy.
  • Madison tells Natalie that she doesn't have to spend every minute of every day with Samuel.
  • Madison becomes threatened and worried when Natalie threatens her into breaking up with Samuel.
  • Madison becomes jealous when Natalie tells her that she will be asking Samuel out.
  • Madison asks Babushka to devise a plan to warn Samuel that he is about to be asked out. Babushka then decides for the two of them to ride on the window washer's platform so that Samuel could be warned without Natalie seeing them. However, the platform malfunctions before they get the chance for Samuel to see them.
  • Madison (and Babushka) attempts to warn Samuel about Natalie; however he doesn't manage to hear them in time.
  • Madison becomes upset when she sees Natalie and Samuel kiss.
  • Samuel wanted to speak to Madison straight away, and she lets him.
  • Samuel tells Madison that even though him and Natalie kissed, he rejected her.
  • Samuel tells Madison that he would prefer to date her over a super model any day.
  • They hug.

Dates[]

  • Samuel sits next to Madison on the couch while she was watching TV.
  • Madison turns the TV off when she notices that Samuel wants something.
  • Samuel tells her that they need to talk. Madison assumes that he wants to break up with her.
  • Samuel assures Madison that they'll be together for a long time.
  • Samuel tells her that he is concerned because they have been together for a few months; however they haven't went on a first date yet.
  • Samuel suggests that they should have their first date at the Blackness restaurant, but Madison disagrees as she remembers working there for a day and hating it due to it being really unkempt.
  • After Samuel begs her, Madison finally agrees to go there; however if something bad happens, she's blaming it on him.
  • Madison warns Samuel about the food that he was about to eat, and Samuel spits it out straight away.
  • Madison and Samuel both gets annoyed when Bella Thorne and her "colleagues" (Harry Styles, Adele, Snoop Dog and Ellen) interrupt their date.
  • They both agree to redo their first date with a simple movie on the couch, however they get interrupted again.
  • Desperate, Madison visits a librarian (played by Tyra Banks) and asks her for love advice.
  • The librarian tells her (and Samuel; offscreen) the same advice, where he should write her a letter, inviting her on the date.
  • Samuel does this and writes, "Madison. Meet me at the top of the hotel. Wear nice clothes. All you need is your beautiful self. - Samuel."
  • Madison greets Samuel at the top of the hotel and they hug.
  • They compliment each other.
  • Samuel sets up a table and pours root beer in a wine class for Madison.
  • The two of them clink glasses and share a toast to them being together.
  • Madison says that this third-first date was perfect and that nothing could ruin it. However, she speaks to soon as when they lean in for a kiss, it pours down raining.
  • They laugh it off and Samuel gives Madison his coat.
  • The two of them stand in the rain for a bit, embracing and looking out at the rest of the world.
  • Samuel says that they will be together forever, and that he sees Madison in his future. Madison agrees.
  • The two of them appear at the "Fail Fashion Show" at the end and are introduced as "The Couple Who Got Drenched on Their Third-First Date".

What Is Better?[]

Note: This episode was aired as an audience-interaction episode, where viewers at home could vote by pressing a button their remote. Although the characters appear to be in-character in this episode, this episode could be considered non-canon.

  • Madison and Samuel host a webcast in order to ask the audience (both in-universe and real-life) the fate of their relationship.
  • They ask the audience, "What is better; dating, or just being friends?".
  • Samuel joins the elevator when he sees Madison go in it.
  • Samuel tells her that he received thousands of votes, however it is a hung vote.
  • Samuel appears on-air during "Let's Get Weird" and kisses Madison on the cheek.
  • Madison apologizes for him and tells the host of the game show that that was her boyfriend.
  • Samuel says that the votes are still hung.
  • Samuel is in the audience while Madison (and Babushka and Patricia) was on the game show.
  • Samuel looks concerned and disgusted when Madison (and Babushka) were forced to make-out with monkeys.

Pass Me The Cheese[]

  • When her cellmate started hitting on her, Madison automatically told him that she had a boyfriend.
  • Madison tells Babushka that she misses Samuel.
  • Madison and Samuel embrace when they finally see each other.
  • The pair sit next to each other in the cafeteria.
  • Samuel had his arm around Madison's shoulder when they were waiting for Buddy to show them his escape route.
  • Madison makes her way out of the prison after Samuel and he helps her.
  • The pair embrace again when they both made it out of the prison.
  • Madison tells Samuel that she left her cellphone in the prison, but Samuel warns her not to go back to avoid getting caught.

Dirty Cheaters[]

  • The pair was walking down the hall together.
  • Madison was talking really fast to Samuel and Samuel tried to calm her down.
  • Madison asks Samuel if he could help her with her project for drama class, however Samuel says that acting isn't his thing.
  • Madison realizes that her and Samuel barely have time for each other.
  • Madison shrugs it off and tells Samuel that she could get somebody else to help her with her project.
  • Distracted by Samuel, Madison accidentally bumps into the door twice when she was incapable of unlocking it. She seems embarrassed by this.
  • Samuel witnesses Madison running lines with Simon and automatically gets jealous.
  • Right before Madison and Simon kiss, Samuel leaves the room.
  • Madison backs out of the kiss at the last second because she thought it would be awkward for both herself, Simon and Samuel.
  • Samuel is upset when he thinks that he witnessed Madison cheating on him.
  • Samuel asks Babushka of advice, and she tells him to cheat on her back; however Madison must see it for herself.
  • Samuel invites Madison on a date.
  • Madison dresses up nicely for the date and she is excited about it being their first date in a long time.
  • Samuel notices Madison enter the restaurant and speaks at a high volume intentionally.
  • Samuel gives Loretta a charm bracelet and kisses her right in front of Madison.

  • Samuel came barging out of the restaurant as soon as he saw Madison and leave, and he tries to talk to her but Madison refuses to and walks the other way.
  • Madison cries on top of the stairs by herself after what happened.
  • Later, Babushka notices Madison in bed; all sad and depressed (mirroring what happened in The Book of Secrets).
  • Babushka was confused as to why Madison was so upset and she tells Madison about how Samuel thought that she was cheating on him.
  • Madison confirms that she wasn't and becomes even more heartbroken when she realizes that Samuel cheated on her for real.
  • Samuel walks down the street close to tears, as he manages to come across street signs and flyers with words like, "Madison", "Love", "M + S" and "I <3 Maddie".
  • Babushka tells Samuel about the real story behind Madison's "cheating" and beats him up for hurting her.
  • Madison sulks to Patricia about Samuel, who is also upset about her husband cheating on her.
  • Patricia tells Madison that she should try to talk to Samuel and that their situation was reversible.
  • Madison finally works up the courage to talk to Samuel, and the two of them have a long talk about trust and honesty.
  • Madison thinks that the whole situation was a wake-up call for her and she tells Samuel that she thinks it's best for them if they break-up.
  • Samuel asks Madison if they should remain friends, but Madison says that she will think about it, leaving Samuel alone and heartbroken.

Part 1[]

  • When Samuel approaches Madison, Madison looks at him for half a second before narrowing her eyes down in an awkward manner.
  • Samuel tells Madison about the piano player being asleep.
  • Samuel thanks him for warning her by patting him on the shoulder.
  • Samuel is standing next to Madison during her play.
  • Madison vents to Samuel about how bad her play is going, so she tells him to give her a microphone.
  • Samuel gives Madison a microphone.
  • Samuel watches Madison's performance with enthusiasm.
  • Samuel cheers for Madison at the end of her performance.
  • Samuel (and Babushka) attends the live taping of Shake It Up Chicago to support Madison.

Part 2[]

  • Samuel (and the rest of the guys) go in Madison's dressing room.
  • Samuel agrees to be a back-up dancer during the "Big Wings Spectacular".
  • Madison asks him if he's sure that he wants to, and Samuel confirms that he does since he felt apologetic about what happened in Dirty Cheaters (the previous episode).
  • Samuel tells Madison that he didn't mean to cheat on her.
  • Madison says that it's okay and that he's forgiven.

Are You Stupider Than a Grown Man?[]

  • Madison wakes Samuel (and the others) up by banging a pot with a spoon.
  • Samuel wishes Madison a good morning and starts to do a victory dance to celebrate the weekend.
  • Madison tells Samuel that it is Monday, and Samuel tells her to wake him up on Friday night.
  • Both Madison and Samuel witness Phil in his "lucky shirt", as Phil tells the both of them that he will start going to school with them.
  • Madison tells Phil that Samuel would look after him while they're at school; and threatens Samuel to do so.
  • Samuel reluctantly agrees to look after Phil to respect Madison's orders.
  • Madison tells Samuel to get dressed and that many teachers complained that he has shown up to school in his underwear.
  • Samuel overhears Madison and Babushka's conversation and laughs when Madison says "duty".
  • Madison becomes annoyed when she learns that Samuel didn't want to be friends with Phil anymore and that he's embarrassed by him.
  • Madison asks Samuel why he cut Phil out of his life.
  • Madison gives Samuel a speech about never turning your back on family; and that no matter how embarrassing they are, you should love them no matter what.
  • Samuel agrees with Madison and decides to find Phil to apologize to him straight away.

Number Two on Your Shoe[]

  • When Mr Pulp tells the students not to hug and beg to be partnered up with their friends, he tells them to hug the person that they do not want to be with. Madison and Samuel reluctantly hug.
  • Madison was proud to compete with Samuel's (and Chester's) science project.
  • Babushka repetitively tells Madison that she is fixated on beating her ex.
  • Samuel shows interest in Madison's (and Babushka's) science project; but Madison doesn't want to tell him anything.
  • Babushka agrees to use Madison and Samuel's faeces for their experiment.
  • Madison and Samuel are sitting next to each other in class.
  • Samuel watches Madison (and Babushka) present their project to the class.
  • Samuel grows concern for Madison when she accidentally knocks over his flask. The flask contained the same acid that "poisoned" Babushka in Poisoned.
  • Samuel saves Madison's life by quickly catching the drop of acid on a paper towel before it reaches her skin. Samuel is holding Madison's shoulder's while doing so.
  • Madison tells Samuel that he saved her life, and Samuel responds with "of course".
  • The two of them admire each other for a few seconds before Mr Pulp tells everyone to remain calm.

The Lady and The Cramp[]

  • Madison finds it hard to focus on anything because she still has feelings for Samuel.
  • Babushka is aware of Madison's new feelings and Madison reluctantly tells her that Babushka was right.
  • During Simon's rendition of "I Think I Wanna Date You", although Simon was doing an awful job, Madison imagines Samuel singing it to her instead.
  • At the end of Simon's performance, Madison says she'll take him back; but she calls him "Samuel".
  • Samuel witnesses Madison's mistake and grows suspicious.
  • Babushka tells Madison that Samuel saw her, and Madison becomes embarrassed. Babushka then says that Madison needs to make a choice between Simon and Samuel.
  • Madison asks Babushka if she could invite Samuel to the bottom of the hotel after dark.
  • Madison tells Simon that she has feelings for someone else, and Simon guesses correctly. Simon also says that he understands, since he knows that Madison and Samuel had a history.
  • Madison couldn't look Samuel in eye and say that she chose him.
  • Samuel becomes confused when Madison is blabbing on, and he decides to leave. Madison doesn't notice that he was gone until a few seconds later.
  • Madison becomes upset with herself when she realizes that she blew her chance of winning Samuel back.

Assassins Unite![]

  • Madison tells Babushka that she has "break-up fever"; where she seems to be attracted to any guy that she meets, as a result of her and Samuel's break-up.
  • Madison finds Assassin guns in the garbage, and remembers when Samuel won the game last time they played it.
  • Madison also remembers that she made a deal with Samuel, where she had to go out with him if he beat Matthew. Madison uses this to win Samuel back.
  • Samuel [and the others] agree to play Assassin again.
  • Madison jumps when she sees Samuel walk into Blue.
  • Samuel assures Madison that he'd never shoot her; and Madison promises the same.
  • The two of them have a conversation about how things were going with their dating lives.
  • Madison becomes in denial and jealous when Samuel mentions Brittany; a girl who he is seeing.
  • Madison tells Samuel that she's moved on (although she clearly hasn't).
  • Samuel becomes somewhat jealous when he sees Madison attend the to rocker dude.
  • Madison tries to warn the rocker dude that he could hurt himself if he wasn't careful. This is what Madison warned Samuel about in Pilot.
  • Samuel playfully teases Madison, and Madison caves in and lets him shoot her.
  • Samuel chases Madison around the restaurant, and they are both laughing and enjoying it.
  • Samuel wraps his arms around Madison; forcing her up onto the table. Samuel attempts to try and make Madison stand up, but she doesn't let him. However, they are interrupted by JJ Martin.
  • Both of them agree that it's time to go home.
  • Madison [and Babushka] agree to help Samuel with his plan to beat Matthew.
  • They embraced when Samuel he was victorious.
  • Madison repeatedly asked Samuel about the deal he made with her (in The Ultimate Assassin), but Samuel assumes that Madison was joking and he was too excited to answer.

No Animals Were Harmed[]

  • Madison calls Samuel when her and Babushka needed help with getting Horan back.
  • Samuel immediately rushes over to help Madison (and Babushka).
  • Samuel is interjects and is concerned when Madison says that the scam guys should throw her down from the high-rise building instead of Horan.
  • When Madison is just about to fall over the edge of the building, Samuel rushes over and saves her.
  • Madison says that Samuel has saved her life again. The first time being in Number Two on Your Shoe.
  • Madison and Samuel walk over to pat Horan and they both celebrate after Babushka defeated the scam guys.

The Road...Here We Come[]

  • Madison and Samuel get paired up to do the CPR demonstration project.
  • Madison confronts the Health teacher about how she feels uncomfortable with being Samuel's partner.
  • The Health teacher says that she didn't pair the two of them up randomly and that she thinks that Madison and Samuel would work great together.
  • Madison vents to Babushka about how annoyed she is being Samuel's partner.
  • Madison and Samuel both agree that it could be awkward, however they don't need to perform mouth-to-mouth on each other; and they could present a different method of presentation instead.
  • Madison denies Samuel being a bad actor and begs him to make the presentation work.
  • When it comes to presenting, Madison accidentally brings the wrong flash drive to school; and the whole class had to witness embarrassing clips starring the both of them.
  • Madison becomes disappointed that they failed the assignment because she really wanted the karaoke machine that the Health teacher was giving away to the pair who presents the best demonstration.
  • Samuel tells Madison that he's got a surprise for her, and gives her a box. Madison opens it up to find the karaoke machine. Samuel tells her that he had to bribe the Health teacher with all his life savings to give him the karaoke machine. Madison says that this is the nicest thing that anyone has ever done for her; referring to Samuel only spending money on "important" stuff.
  • Madison looks at Samuel when Million Bucks Bill sings the line, "meeting the girl of my dreams".
  • To impress Samuel, Madison gets Babushka to sing a song with her; titled "Best Friends Forever, Should Always Stick Together".
  • Madison wasn't satisfied with Samuel's reaction, so she starts to sing "Funtastic"; the song that her and Samuel performed together in A Wonderful Thanksgiving.
  • When Madison realizes that Samuel doesn't notice, she stops singing, she shakes her head and walks away. However, Samuel picks up a microphone and continues singing the next line. This leads to the two of them singing together.
  • They sing the lyrics to each other and are unable to keep their eyes off of one another.
  • After the song, the two of them lean in for a kiss; however they are interrupted by everyone's cheering and applause.

Bye, Bye Madison[]

  • Samuel tells Babushka about Madison; saying that she seems upset.
  • Samuel (and the others) are featured in Madison's flashbacks/memories.
  • Madison tells her mother that she will miss everyone dearly, however there is one person that she'll miss in particular. These leads to Madison's memories/flashbacks of her and Samuel being projected on the screen.
  • Samuel becomes frustrated when he realizes that Madison still had feelings for her.
  • Madison says that she can't leave without saying goodbye to Samuel.
  • Madison finds Samuel sitting under the stairs and she joins him.
  • The two of them have a long talk about Madison's feelings and their future.
  • Samuel tells Madison that if she moved back to New York, he wouldn't know what to do because she means the world to him. Madison says that he means the world to her too.
  • The two of them get caught up in the moment and share their first kiss (on-screen; as it is implied that they have kissed before).
  • The kiss made Madison realize that she isn't ready to move back to New York.
  • Madison tells Samuel that she has friends and family back in New York; however she will never meet a guy like Samuel again.
  • Madison decides to stay in Chicago for a little while longer to be with Samuel.
  • When Madison has the courage to tell her mother about her plan to stay in Chicago, her and Samuel are holding hands.
  • Madison looks at Samuel when she says that her and the others are all a big, happy family.
